We have a passion for horses. Breeding, training and showing is something we pride ourselves on, and we continue to learn from our horses and other horsemen and women in the industry on nearly a daily basis.
We may be just beginning our adventure with the breeding and raising of our own string of horses but we have been around the industry for quite a while. We both graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Masters of Science, Brian's focus being Ruminant Nutrition and Courtney's Equine
Exercise Physiology. Brian now teaches Agriculture and History at Clarendon College and Courtney is partner and office manager of a family run softwood bagged shavings company. Courtney also has an extensive background in horse judging, and was the assistant coach at WTAMU for two years while in graduate school. This past March Courtney tested, passed and received her National Reining Horse Association Judges Card.
Currently our up and coming stud is Clydes Sage Hancock, a Blue Valentine bred colt who we hope to one day have qualified in heading and heeling for the AQHA World Show. We already have two '09 geldings and two 2011 foals on the ground by "Cruzer" and they are already looking promising. We also have a few colts by Cruzer's sire, Mr Clyde Hancock, who were started in 2009 and are being ridden now.
We love showing visitiors our horses and are happy to talk bloodlines and horses all day. Feel free to contact us if you are interested in one of our horses or if you are interested in breeding to Cruzer.
